Moments of Meditation: Values are our Views
“Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.” ― Henry David Thoreau, Walden
I’m often asked in return as to what I’ve learned. And the best way to phrase it is as simply as what I think applies to life as a whole. What are the keys to success within any and all scenarios.
To me, I think the most important thing I’ve learned is to approach all situations with modesty, kindness, gratitude, patience, honesty, and integrity. It’s a bit on the nose, but I think I want to apply these values to a greater, deeper level.
I want to know what they mean to me, what they mean to others, and how they work in accordance to how I value them versus how others perceive such views.
As I discover what I value about myself and finding the right partners that share such sequences, I endeavor to discovering my creative self. I am still on a path of self-discovery, as life can be honest with its humps and dumps that just press on one from all sides…yet these are slides one can’t run from, only flow to where it is necessary.
Yet we’re connected by relationships, to both ourselves and others. Paths of pain which lead to baths of gain, for every sensation is the precursor to each congratulation.
