The Pokémon Company announced Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, and it seems to be a region inspired by Spain. This means it must be close to the Kalos region which represents France.

We never got the Kalos region during our time with X and Y. Our time with Kalos was cut quite short as we never got a 3rd game for that region as a lot of the mystery surrounding Zygarde was pushed into Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

Pokémon has had an interesting journey on the Switch. GAMEFREAK has evolved itself with every game yet. Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee presented us with a sip of how the games can run. Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield built the foundation for the open world aspects in the Galar region, only improving it in the first expansion pass. And this year’s Pokémon Legends Arceus offered us the long awaited free and wild story driven, open world experience in the Hisui region.
