Voice of One Piece: Understanding the Technology and Lore Behind One Piece’s Egghead
An exploratory chapter all about Vegapunk and his creations. It’s great to see Strawhats interacting together and fighting as a group. Sanji and Robin getting angry over Nami getting hurt was inspiring, allowing us to view the sentimental aspects of the Strawhats.
Zoro willingly lets Caribou go, but since Egghead is close to Blackbeard’s territory, it may finally give Blackbeard the info he needs to plan his movement against Luffy.
We explore more of how different types of energy run Egghead, and it even has belief based doors and magnetized boot locks. It makes you wonder why all this technology is used only here. Perhaps it really is a time based island or some Devil Fruit ability making it so, as it would make complete sense to export the technology. Perhaps, the Seraphim and Pacifistas are what’s needed; the rest the government keeps for themselves.
Maybe the government was taking the DNA of Impel Down’s prisoners and making cloned Seraphim out of them. That would explain why the one in question looked a lot like Jinbei. Now though, it had Senior Pink’s Devil Fruit, so was it a cloned fruit or has Pink been killed for it. It doesn’t seem like the Marines would kill just like that, so it must…
