One Piece Chapter 1055 Review: A New Age of Piracy Begins
Voice of One Piece: Green Bull vs Scabbards
This One Piece chapter was a fun way to continue the conflicts that sparked in the previous, with a stronger understanding behind the characters, especially Momonosuke.
Momo taking a stand and understanding that he must be strong enough to protect his land when external forces aren’t there to help was great. Slowly but surely, it’s been great to see him grow determined and resilient. And he really lived up to it by blasting Green Bull.
And then Green Bull felt Shanks’ Haki and was definitely wanted out of there. But it was nice that Luffy and the rest could tell what was happening loosely, while trusting Momo to be able to compete against a strong threat.
The other interesting part is the link between the Road Poneglyph and olden Wano. It circles back to how Fishman Island is below water too. So we have lands above and below water, which have to play into Shirahoshi being Poseidon, destroying Fishman Island, and opening Wano to release Pluton.
