One Piece Chapter 1051 Review: Wano is Ending
Voice of One Piece: Momonosuke Declades Himself as Shogun of Wano
A refreshing chapter compared to the bogged down pacing since chapter 1046. Wano is finally heading to its conclusion, at least it seems to be so far, and perhaps it’s finally time for some much needed fresh air.
Yamato wanting to join the Straw Hat Pirates was a bit abrupt, but it’s also befitting someone living as Oden. Though she hasn’t exactly earned such an honor, but she could be developed later on.
Wano is a lot like Thriller Bark with Oars paralleing Kaido, Moria and his shadows paralleling Big Mom and her souls, and with how quickly both Yamato and Brook join the crew. We got a bit of Tama’s backstory, while it’s not much it still gives us insight about who she is and what she’s had to do. She’s really the embodiment of having to survive Kaido and Orochi’s torture thus far. And her reaction is pretty cute when Yamato says she wants to sail with Luffy as Tama is too young to do so even though she wants to. She was orphaned…
