Moments of Meditation: Our Greatest Escape is Our Sleep
Just sleep it off. A lot of times, we’re worried and scared in the moment, but that’s when we’re at our weakest. We’re tired and we don’t know it because the adrenaline is pumping through us to keep us from thinking straight by making us think about everything else.
Of course, in such a state, we’re always going to think of the worst possible solutions. We’re going to sink into them. This is why the worst time to discuss anything emotional or critical is when you’re sleepy or angry. You need to allow yourself to cool of the fool in you.
This is why sleep is great, for all the benefits, but especially when you’re at your worst. Allow all this negative thoughts to drown away but slumbering into comfort.
It won’t always come easy, but the result will make you breezy.
