Mental Health Matters: Tiny Tip 26
Moments of Meditation: Pay Attention to the Attention that Pays
We lose sight of the things that do well for us, chasing everything that wasn’t meant for us. It’s okay to believe one thing, receive another, but it’s when keep hoping for a reward from something that’s not our ward, we feel lost and lonely.
It’s not necessarily our fault for feeling such doom, especially when our goal was to escape some gloom, but it’s really what we already have that allows us to bloom.
In wanting new, we forget what we had, and what we have is what we should pay attention to as it’s what has paid us the most so far. It’s what helped us even think about finding a better way, so don’t leave that core principle behind and away just to find some spice that would leave you astray.
Pay attention to what’s always been in your best intention as that is the direction that will build an engine for affection.
