Will You Be The One To Sell?
Mental Health Matters: Tiny Tip 20
Moments of Meditation: Everyone Has a Story to Tell
Sometimes, we just need a way to lessen life’s lessons. It can feel like the world can weigh down on us. And as much as we want to express, there are times we must impress ourselves on to others. Just being there for someone means being there for us.
When we can learn to support someone else despite our struggle, it allows us to juggle through any of life’s hurdles. Not because we had some momentous change or that things got easier, but simply because we’re able to change our perspectives. It’s not all bad, and definitely not only for us.
The only way to chase away the voice in our head is by welcoming others to take its place. To share that space until it becomes its own addiction. Everything becomes a habit of one sort or another. This is why we spiral out of control when considering our feelings. We have nothing else to compare except our own ceilings.
And so, not only is going out for a walk good for muscle movement and sunlight exposure, but it’s an opportunity for us to be there for someone else. Of course, we have to be calculative and safe about it, so a public place is the way to go. But once you do find your happy place, one that’s different from your usual solemn sanctuary, you’ll learn to built a fort out of the ordinary.
Life isn’t so different for the rest of us, especially when you hear us out. We’re all in this together, trying to figure out our own medicines among everyday denizens.
You may never know what may glisten until you allow yourself to listen.
