A cocktail of mystery and identity, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 8 — Jojolion brings us back to the streets of Morioh and a fresh take Josuke Higashikata as our protagonist and respective Jojo lead.
Jojolion takes a slower pace compared to the racing urges of Steel Ball Run, focusing on the protagonist, Josuke. This is a welcomed change for the series, as it twists the general formula from something plot or character-focused into one that plays with its setting.
From the beginning, we’re introduced to the interesting phenomenon surrounding Josuke and the land dubbed Wall Eyes. And since Josuke doesn’t know who he is, he doesn't have much ambition other than finding out who he is, and it eventually evolves into finding his role and place in this world.
Jojolion does, however, fit right into where Steel Ball Run left off among the grand scheme of things, finally indicating that Hirohiko Araki (the creator and mangaka) finally has a…
