Lurking between light and darkness, Inside offers an immersive puzzle-platformer experience, combining simple lighting with animated aesthetics.

Throughout our experience, we’re hardly told anything. There is no specific dialogue, plot, or character. All we have is our protagonist, who is this little boy trying to escape the world hunting him down.

But its in this process that we discover a world sunken with curiosity’s despair. It’s a noir representation of what it means to be a mouse turned into a monster through the disguise of survival.

The game offers ambient sound design, almost as the only other character throughout the gameplay, which is mysteriously obvious yet full of intrigue. There’s a rhythm to wanting to complete a room one after one, one which…
