It seems that even with just one Tank in a 5V5 setting, they are the hardest to balance. Fundamentally, they’re just one character, this is how a casual player, or even though who don’t play the game may feel. But in the end, they encapsulate the good, the bad, and the ugly. Whether it came down to oppressive, stagnant team compositions to just messing around with crowd control or positioning, Tanks maneuver how the game is played.
Even if Tanks don’t have as much power as they did in Overwatch 1, the entire team composition still revolves around them. Reinhardt requires more Rush, you know you’re getting Dive with Winston or D.Va, or Poke with Sigma. And then different hero…
