Perspective into Review
In my mercenary turned Knight-based professorship, I supported the Blue Lions and Dimitri’s thirst for revenge over the killers of his family. This was my first Fire Emblem, so I played on the Casaul Mode too. I think this a fair representation as I ususally play games on “normal” as that is the general area the game developers wanted to the experience to be.
The journey started of interesting, with a mix between exploring the academy and then going on strategic raids to fend off monsters and bandits. This allowed for some fun interactions and insights with the characters, but it slowly loses its charms when you learn you can’t engage with anyone beyond what is generally scripted to be the case every month. There’s no real way to truly bond with a character, beside specifically focusing on them in a meal time or something.
There are ocassional pop-ups which ask you to meet up with certain members. This allows you to learn about their present altercations or a past experience and how it’s been affecting them currently, but the limited control over who you want to spend time is…
