The 2021 Chengdu Hunters were a great team, living up to the hype after adding all those new pieces. The new roster involves the addition of Apr1ta while GA9A has been left as the lone tank as both Ameng and LateYoung left the team. This leaves Leave and JinMu as the other DPS players while Farway1987, Mmonk, Yveltal, and Nisha act as the Supports. The Hunters placed 5–6th place during the 2021 Overwatch League season, and now that they’ve filled their only hole, being the somewhat inflexible DPS lineup due to Jimmy not living up to expectations, they should be good enough to land a win against the 2022 Shanghai Dragons in a tournament final. Of course, easier said than done, but we may see a brand new Hunters, even if they only gained one new player.
The 2022 Chengdu Hunters look like a juggernaut with the inclusion of Aprita, who can play the hitscan roles, Tracer, and Reaper. This is amazing because he’s obviously good, but now Leave isn’t going to be jailed into Tracer duty. Leave…
